"  After six days of highly competitive action a winner has been confirmed at the <a href='http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/?key=MDAwMEE2MzAwMDAxRkFDRjIwNDI0MDI0MDAwMDAwMDA- '>Full Tilt</a> Merit Classic in Cyprus.<br/><br/>Andreas Krause, a regular on the European tournament circuit claimed the biggest win of his career after outlasting a 181 runner field that included the likes of David Benyamine, Sorel Mizzi and November Nine quartet Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi, John Dolan, Filippo Candio and John Racener.<br /><br /><br /><a href='http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/?key=MDAwMEE2MzAwMDAxRkFDRjIwNDI0MDI0MDAwMDAwMDA- '>Full Tilt</a> Red Pro Van Marcus was the favourite going into the six man final table but busted out in third after his shortstacked shove with A6 ran into Mathieu Clavet's AJ. A Jack on the flop sealed the deal leaving the young Frenchman to battle it out with Krause. <br /><br /><br />The German had a two to one chip advantage going into heads up play but Clavet got lucky to take the lead. His tournament had looked over holding A5 against Krause's pocket 8s on a Q939 board but an ace on the river put him right back in contention. The reprieve was to be short lived though after a flopped straight gave Krause the initiative again.
