America loses out to Europe on e-gambling

E-gambling will revenue will rise to $14.5 billion worldwide by 2006, but America will only claim 24 per cent of it, according to a recent Electronic Gambling report from Informa Media Group.

Informa believes that by 2006, the US will claim only 24 per cent of e-gambling revenue, whereas Europe will claim 53 per cent.

Informa also mentions that by 2006, 58 per cent of worldwide electronic gamblers will be in Europe.

Another analyst Datamonitor argues that the iTV gambling market alone, and in Europe alone, will be worth $11.1 billion in revenue by 2006.
