|River City Group, the organizers of the Global Interactive Gaming, has announced that Professor Lawrence Lessig will provide the keynote address at this year’s Global Interactive Gaming Summit. Lessig is one of the world’s top experts on intellectual property in the age of digital communication and was the founder of Stanford's Center for Internet and Society. |
In his two previous books, 'Code' and 'The Future of Ideas,' Lessig concentrates on the destruction of much of the original promise of the Internet. His keynote address will focus on the unique issues the industry faces and he will draw from a range of work in legal theory and technical design to draw the map of his approach.
River City Group CEO, Sue Schneider, said, 'We've been following the work of Professor Lessig for years now and are pleased to have him as the keynote speaker. This will allow our attendees to be exposed to his ground-breaking ideas and have the debate at this conference to be stimulated by his insights.'
Then summit is expected to be the largest event ever for the interactive gambling industry, attracting close to 2,000 people from across the globe.
