|Online money transfer service provider, NETELLER, is to extend its European offering by launching German, French, Spanish and Italian versions of its service. Customers will now be able to access local language and payment options in addition to being supported by a native speaking contact centre facility, with 24/7 service.|
The move is the latest development in NETELLER's strategy to deepen and extend its offering into more countries and market sectors. The English-only website has already built up a global user base of more than 2.6 million customers and 3,400 merchants across 160 countries.
Early indications of the new service are already showing a significant growth in sign-up rates from new customers, particularly in Germany and France.
This comes at a time when NETELLER also confirmed the availability of their new 1-Pay payments platform across Asia. This follows testing throughout the last quarter.
Ron Martin, President & CEO, said, 'I am delighted that we are now able to
offer the most trusted and secure online payment service to these important
geographies. This is another milestone in NETELLER's pursuit of deepening and extending its service within a greater number of countries and market sectors.”
NETELLER will announce a trading update for the quarter ended 31 March 2006, together with its AGM statement, on Thursday 11 May 2006.
