|‘Breach of contract, conspiracy, unlawful interference with economic relations and interests and unjust enrichment’ -- any one of these or more than one of these CryptoLogic Inc. is allegedly guilty of. So claims Las Vegas From Home.com, a former licensee of CryptoLogic, previously supplied by that leading gaming software supplier, in the law suit filed against CryptoLogic on March 12 this year. |
Cryptologic President and CEO Jean Noelting has retaliated: ‘While Las Vegas From Home.com's lawsuit may make good headlines, its claims have no basis in law or in fact. This type of frivolous lawsuit is damaging to the company's reputation and to shareholder value. CryptoLogic will use all means at its disposal to vigorously defend its position, including initiating a counterclaim against Las Vegas From Home.com and its subsidiary.'
A subsidiary of CryptoLogic and another subsidiary, of Las Vegas From Home.com, reached a licensing agreement in May, 2001, for developing and launching software for Internet poker.
