Bowmans Announce NFL Handicapping Competition

As the 2006 NFL season approaches, online sportsbetting operator Bowmans is once again ready to roll out its NFL world challenge of handicapping competition. The competition, now in its fifth year, is a free-to-enter weekly which starting September 1 and runs for the entire 2006 NFL season, with a total cash prize fund of $110,000.

The game is based on making eight point spread selections from the scheduled NFL games each week on, with the player selecting the most correct selections each week receiving $2,500. Bowmans are also offering a cash prize of $25,000 to the player with the most correct selections throughout the season, with prizes of $15,000 and $5000 for second and third place respectively.

Sara Waller, Marketing Manager of Bowmans, said, “Not only is the $100,000 prize fund this year absolutely fantastic but with the loyalty bonuses, the random draw and cash prizes paid all the way down to 70th place, we believe this NFL world challenge of handicapping competition to be the best yet.”

The loyalty bonus is a £100 cash incentive paid to players who compete throughout the entire 17 weeks of the season. Pre-registration for the competition is now open.
