Payment Processors Concerned By Bill's Passage
By Joe M
Payment processing companies look as if they will be the hardest hit by the passage of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. With banks and credit card companies at the centre of the legislation, having been outlawed from processing deposits online, payment companies are looking to the future with a certain amount of unease.

Fire One has said that the act will have,'...a significant negative impact on the business and the results of the operations of the company.'

Excapsa Software has said that their board are 'continuing to assess and evaluate the impact on the industry.'

Both companies shares have suffered since the markets opened this morning.
