Blue Square Partners with GameAccount

This will allow Blue Square customers to tap into the liquid GameAccount network, joining players wagering real money from over 130 countries worldwide.

Accessible through a dedicated homepage tab, the Blue Square Skill Game service will be powered by a fully integrated, browser-based skill games solution. The initial product focus will be on a core suite of popular skill-based derivatives: Multiplayer Blackjack, Gin Rummy and Backgammon. Furthermore, these games are supported by next-generation ‘poker-style’ tournament technology: Cash Games; Non-stop ‘Sit and Go’ tournaments, money-added scheduled tournaments; guaranteed prize money tournaments; feeder tournaments and regular scheduled Freeroll tournaments. Blue Square will also be able to launch bespoke branded tournaments exclusively accessible to their clientele. Initially the games will be available on, with a chance to roll out to other brands owned by parent company Rank Plc, as the partnership develops.

The service is expected to go live in January 2007.
