According to reports over the weekend in the Business section of the Sunday Times, bookmaker Ladbrokes has formed a joint business enterprise with Megainfo, a Hong Kong-based technology company.

The article reports that the Ladbrokes main interest in the deal was to develop products for the Chinese betting market. The company is said to have invested around £320,000 for a 49 percent stake in the business, which is to be rebranded Asia Gaming Technologies.

Taipei based Megainfo Holdings Ltd develops and distributes digital image-processing management software, with operational centres in Macau and China.
