Isle Of Man-based software development company Microgaming has announced the release of The Osbournes video slot featuring Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly.

The game is the product of an exclusive licensing agreement with the Osbourne family, made famous by the reality television series of the same name, and will be available to all 120 online casinos powered by Microgaming’s gambling software.

Soon to be available in over 19 languages, this is the latest high-profile offering from the firm’s stable and follows in the footsteps of its Hitman release earlier this year.

“The developers at Microgaming have done a fantastic job at bringing all our family to life within the game and they’ve even managed to immortalise my beloved dog, Minnie,” said Sharon.

The game is a five-reel 20 pay-line slot with free spins, multiplier boosts and cash prizes. In the base game, players can win up to $75,000 while the Free Spins game offers $150,000. A further $50,000 is available in the new Door Knocker bonus and additional bonuses can bring an additional $3,000.

“This announcement isn’t just about one of the biggest game launches of the year but one of the biggest game launches since this industry started from any software provider,” said Roger Raatgever, Chief Executive Officer for Microgaming.

“To be launching a video slot featuring one of the most famous entertainment families in the world just shows how far into the entertainment industry we’ve come and long may it continue.”
