|Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank has announced that another major politician has agreed to co-sponsor his Internet Gambling Regulation And Enforcement Act (IGREA) proposal, which takes the total number of those voicing their support in the body to 37.|
Joining others who have voiced support for IGREA, Representative Raul Grijalva is about to take over as Co-Chairman the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the largest single partisan league in The United States House of Representatives that works to advance progressive issues and causes including fair trade agreements.
He also serves on the Committee on Natural Resources and is Chairman of the National Parks, Forests and Public Lands Subcommittee, the Committee on Small Business and the Committee on Education and Labour. In addition, Representative Grijalva serves on the Jobs and The Economy Task Force, and the Homeland Security Task Force.
The Arizona Democrat represents the State’s Seventh Congressional District, which is one of the largest in the nation and is greater in area than the states of Rhode Island, Delaware, Hawaii, Connecticut and New Jersey combined, and is also active on the Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Caucus, the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Caucus and the Port Security Caucus.
