|FIVE LUCKY WINNERS WILL SCORE GOAL OF PARTYING IN LONDON|
WITH PLAYBOY PLAYMATES DURING FINAL MATCH ON JUNE 30
New York, May 31, 2002—Playboy.com today kicked off a series of special offerings especially designed for soccer enthusiasts. Starting today, visitors to either Playboygaming.com (http://playboygaming.com) or http://www.desktopbunny.com, can download an interactive screensaver and calendar with updated scores from the latest World Cup matches. In addition to alerts of upcoming games, the calendar will keep track of favorite teams, offer fans a chance to place bets on upcoming matches, and features new photos of a Playboy model each day.
Everyone who downloads the calendar will be entered in a drawing to watch the World Cup finals together with Playboy Playmates and models at the Playboy party at London’s luxurious Century Club. The party will start one hour before kick-off on June 30. Each of the five winners will be eligible to bring three friends.
“The World Cup is an important event for so many people around the globe. We are really excited to offer Playboy-branded calendars to soccer enthusiasts looking for a fun way to track their favorite teams and bet on future matches,” said Robin Cairnes, managing director, Playboy Internet Gaming.
Visitors to Playboygaming.com can customize their calendar to their preference, which can include a time zone converter, the latest World Cup news, and photos of Playboy models dressed in the colors of many of the countries playing in this year’s matches. The desktop calendar features an animated Playboy Bunny and a quick link to the non-stop betting action on Playboygaming.com.
Playboygaming.com is the first online gaming site launched by a major global brand. The site offers non-stop betting action in a fun, reliable and easy-to-use environment. The betting experience is customizable, and visitors can choose from a variety of wagering options. Deanna, the Playboy Betting Bunny and Playboy magazine’s Miss May 1998, greets visitors and then helps them select their choice of wager, including fixed odds, handicaps, ante-post and match bets.
