|Leading online site Betfair.com has announced the launch of its Casino Zero Lounge concept, which offers ‘no house edge’ gambling on four popular games in its casino section to small stakes players.|
The Mata-licensed site stated that the minimum stake in its Casino Zero Lounge had also been decreased from ten to two dollars to make the concept more widely available.
Betfair.com’s Zero Roulette sees the zero removed from the wheel to create no house advantage. The company stated that it has also changed the rules for baccarat, blackjack and jacks or better to create ‘zero house edge’ gaming.
The online gaming company said that its flagship Zero game is Roulette and that in 28 of the 130 countries where the product is available it has been on the losing end of the casino versus player ‘no casino edge’ wagering.
“While most casino operators are looking for clever ways to increase the edge they have over their customers, we aim to offer our customers more value,” said Sam Hobcraft, Head of Casino for Betfair.com.
“The results prove that Zero Roulette pays more back to customers per stake made than any other casino product on the market and we have taken a loss in some countries.”
Betfair.com stated that customers in Greece beat its Zero Roulette to the tune of $59,400, an actual payback of 100.02 per cent. It said that other significant winners over the year have included customers from Spain at over $50,800, the Czech Republic at $7,600 and Germany at $6,800. European winners also included customers from Poland, Georgia and Lithuania while canny punters from Malaysia performed the best in Asia, beating the company out of $20,200.
