|The International Gaming Conference and Expo (IGCE) is to return after a year’s break to focus on the global gaming industry.|
Being held at the five-star Corinthia Lisboa Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal, from April 22 to 24, the event was created by the Sports Network to address issues within the gaming industry both on land and online. Following two conferences in 2006, IGCE opted to take a break after input from speakers, sponsors, attendees and exhibitors indicated that there were too many conferences.
April’s event is to look at the global industry from a legal standpoint with expected speakers including Gabi Campus, Martin Owens, Joe Kelly, Ed Dowd, Tony Coles, Emery Brett Ledger, Mark Mendel, Wulf Hambach, Paul Dwyer, Manfred Bodner, Anthony Cabot, Mitch Garber, Andrew Woods, Paddy Woods and Nelson Rose.
All inquiries should be made before January 15, after which the registration fee will increase. Reservations for specific luncheon seating with designated speakers are to be on a first-come, first-serve, basis and attendees will not be permitted to sit with the same speaker on both days of the event.
“We are actually limiting attendance to 250 in an effort for attendees and speakers to gain the greatest amount of knowledge and interaction,” said Amanda Manero, Conference Coordinator for IGCE.
“Consequently, we are asking that registration be made via contact with our offices right now before we open it up to the Internet and our IGCE site. When we reach that number, we will close out the conference registration.”
