|According to German business publication Finanztreff, the recently launched British online bookmaker Jaxx.com has signed a deal to become the exclusive betting and gaming partner of Lycos UK.|
The two-year deal will see Jaxx.com, a subsidiary of German online gambling giant Fluxx AG, become an integrated partner of Lycos Network Europe, which represents 10.8 million users per month in the UK, with a co-branded betting site available exclusively to Lycos.co.uk users.
The agreement is the second major online partnership that Jaxx.com has made as it seeks to build its presence in the UK. A Jaxx.com spokesman stated that the performance and revenue-share deal is an ideal partnership as the typical Lycos user is a web-savvy 18 to 35-year-old professional with an interest in sports and current affairs, which corresponds perfectly with Jaxx.com’s target market.
