Interactive Television Firm To Expand
By Staff
UK interactive television firm NetPlay TV has raised nearly $2.25 million to fund the expansion of its Live Roulette show into a Super Casino format and further develop its bingo operations.

NetPlay TV, formerly known as Stream Group, raised the funds by a placing of nearly seven million shares at nearly 33 cents each with a company spokesman stating that there are plans to build custom-tailored studios to broadcast the offerings.

NetPlay TV provides three interactive television services with Live Roulette allowing users to place chips either online or via a telephone and then watch live via television while a presenter spins a roulette wheel.

There is also Play Monday, a weekly charity draw for a $19 million jackpot where tickets are bought online. The programme can be watched live on television or can be streamed to PlayMonday.com.

The third service, Big Box Bingo, allows customers to play bingo live on television from their homes with a full house jackpot of $197,000.
