|Leading supplier of online bingo software, Parlay Entertainment Inc, has been granted a license by the Gambling Commission to develop, supply, install and adapt gambling software in the UK.|
The license was granted through the Canadian company’s subsidiary Parlay Malta Ltd and allows the company to deploy its software to clients who are headquartered in the UK or to remote companies who target the British market, one of only 30 firms from around the globe currently allowed to do so.
“We’re thrilled to have been granted a UK license,” said Steve Cook, European Managing Director for Parlay.
“It means we’ll be able to continue serving our existing UK-based licensees as well as signing up new ones. We’re also pleased that we are currently the only online bingo developer to receive a remote gambling software license in the UK.”
Parlay also holds a Class Four gaming software provider’s licence in Malta and is also a certified gaming software provider in the Isle of Man. Under the terms of the new UK license, Parlay is required to abide by the Gambling Act 2005 and its three licensing objectives. These are keeping crime out of gambling, ensuring that gambling is conducted fairly and openly and protecting children and vulnerable people from being harmed or exploited by gambling.
