|GamCare, the British authority for problem gambling and a provider of help, support and counselling services, has started the year in new premises in south London close to the capital’s many comprehensive transport networks.|
The organisation also announced that its tenth year in operation has seen it undertake a review of its brand image and associated literature with a view to updating its look and feel. Its new literature includes crisply designed leaflets for callers to the GamCare Helpline and redesigned leaflets and posters for gaming operators to display in their premises. GamCare stated that the rebranding resulted in it achieving a more cohesive and up-to-date look, which includes a new-look logo.
The rebranding also saw the organisation revamp its website at GamCare.org.uk to reflect the new identity and serve as an easily accessible portal to its services.
In addition to providing a confidential Helpline throughout the UK, GamCare offers a range of help including emotional support, advice, information and referrals for people experiencing problems with their gambling along with family and friends affected by gambling. Online services include a Netline, an Internet-based helpline, and an online peer-to-peer support forum for members.
“Last year was an eventful year, culminating in our move to new premises at the end of the year,” said Geoffrey Godbold, Chief Executive for GamCare.
“Our new offices and suite of counselling rooms will enable us to continue to expand the vital services we offer to problem gamblers and their friends and relatives. Easily accessible, the Clapham premises have been designed to enable us to absorb a significant uplift in Helpline, Netline and counselling activity.'
