|According to a survey conducted by the Missouri Gaming Association, employees at Missouri casinos are generally satified with their pay, working conditions and lifestyle.|
The Association polled 3,326 workers from the American state‘s twelve casinos and found that most workers were happier to be in the gambling industry than they were elsewhere. Eighty-two percent of those polled said that they were more satisfied with their casino jobs than in previous employment with 34 percent of these stating that they were much more satisfied.
Some 58 percent of Missouri casino employees said that they made more money in the current positions with 84 percent stating that being employed by the gambling industry was a positive career move. Respondents cited benefits, pay, career opportunities and work atmosphere as the most frequently cited as reasons for enjoying their jobs.
These results follow a recent Harris poll that found only 43 percent of American workers overall are happy with their current jobs.
