|America’s Interactive Systems Worldwide (ISW) has announced record monthly wagering volumes from its SportXction system in the UK of $3.8 million, a 26 percent rise on its previous record of $2.9 million achieved last October.|
Operated in Great Britain by subsidiary Global Interactive Gaming Ltd, January’s turnover for SportXction represented a 260 percent increase on last year’s tally of one million dollars with the company stating that it is very encouraged by this growth.
The New Jersey firm also said that its ‘hold’, or the total amount retained by its system after winning wagers are paid, hit $261,000 in January. This is the first time that this figure has ever surpassed $194,000 and represented 6.82 percent of the total amount wagered.
Since it launch in December of 2006, the West Patterson-based company stated that the integrated version of SportXction, which enables play-by-play wagering during the course of live sporting events, has accepted over one million wagers on a variety of markets.
