Hard on the heels of its recent purchase of 3.4 million shares, investment company IPCL has increased its stake in mobile gaming technology firm Probability by a further 400,000 shares for around $240,000.

Controlled by Michael Spencer, Treasurer of the UK’s Conservative political party and owner of respected brokerage firm ICAP, IPCL now controls 21 percent of Probability after purchasing the additional shares from Non-Executive Director John Scaife.

The news comes as a bullish report from international gambling consultants Global Betting and Gaming Consultants revealed revenues from gamblers placing bets through mobile phones has grown by 29 percent a year, a growth rate the group stated is set to continue for the foreseeable future.
