Online Casino Expects Reinstatement
By Staff
Following last week’s news that it had lost accreditation by non-profit player protection body eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) for six of its online gambling venues, Australia’s Casino Action group has announced that it expects to be reinstated soon.

A spokesperson for Casino Action has claimed in message board posts over the weekend that the issues leading to the firm’s suspension were ‘purely administrative issues that will be resolved shortly’.

London-based eCOGRA stated that its Compliance and Advisory Services staff had recently conducted an on-site review of Casino Action’s operations as part of a normal seal renewal process and found failures in compliance with its Generally Accepted Principles. This saw,,,, and lose eCOGRA’s Safe and Fair seal, only the second time this has happened in the body’s five years’ in existence.

eCOGRA has not released details on the suspensions other than to report that investigations are ongoing by its Compliance Team.

'We had delayed posting as we thought this would have been resolved in 24 hours but as I am sure most of you know these kind of things tend to take longer than you would expect,” read the post from the spokesperson for Casino Action.

'In no way has our honesty, integrity or customer service been questioned and our reputation speaks for itself. We are expecting our eCOGRA seals will be reinstated very soon but in the meantime it is business as usual.'
