|Show organisers Reed Exhibitions has announced that even though its Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia 2008 show is still three months away, more than 135 exhibitors from 23 different countries have already claimed their space.|
Organised in conjunction with the American Gaming Association (AGA), G2E Asia has 7,900 square metres of its show floor already reserved, meaning that it will be three times the size of last year’s inaugural event.
“Our inaugural G2E Asia last year experienced strong attendance and exhibitor participation and the significant increase in exhibitor participation we are seeing already this year confirms that G2E Asia is fulfilling the growing needs of a thriving Asian gaming marketplace,” said Frank Fahrenkopf, President and Chief Executive Officer for AGA.
“Anticipating the needs of both our exhibitors and attendees, we are introducing new features this year including the introduction of pavilions on the show floor and an extra day of conference content to help professionals in the Asian gaming industry maximize their success.”
G2E Asia 2008 will be held on June 4 and 5 alongside the G2E Asia conference from June 3 to 5 at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center at the Venetian Macao casino and will feature two new pavilions, Security and Surveillance and I-Gaming Business. According to Reed, these pavilions demonstrate how technological innovations are changing the way casino companies approach the business of gaming, both in gaming operations and in the back of the house, and will help gaming professionals stay up-to-date on the latest trends in these areas.
