|Online casino EverestPoker.com has announced a multi-year deal with Harrah's Entertainment covering the satellite tournament and strategic branding placement rights for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.|
According to a statement released by EverestPoker.com, the agreement covers the inner rung of the WSOP feature table for the first time to ensure that the strongest, largest and most successful European field is represented at the iconic poker tournament.
'We are thrilled with this deal as it will allow us to leverage our access to the WSOP to give our European players the best chance possible to compete at and win WSOP events in Las Vegas,” said Jennifer Joyce, Vice-President of Marketing for EverestPoker.com.
“We have always strived to make poker as accessible as possible to everybody, not just the elite few.”
The agreement will see Everest Poker.com's brand reach an estimated global audience of 200 million and enable the Kahnawake-licensed site to provide its largely European player base with more opportunities to play in a WSOP event in Las Vegas.
With official satellite rights, the online casino will offer European poker players the chance to win seats and compete for the biggest single cash prize in international sport. Players may now choose which events they want to attend, a feature designed to appeal to both professionals and amateurs.
