|Scottish Premier League soccer club Motherwell has announced a two-year sponsorship deal with Jaxx.com, the English subsidiary of German online sports gambling firm Fluxx AG.|
The deal includes a revenue share arrangement and is valued at up to 395,000 per season. From the beginning of the 2008/09 season, the agreement will see Jaxx.com’s logo appear on the team’s amber and claret shirts as well as on advertising space within the side’s Fir Park stadium.
The team currently sits third in their domestic league and could feature in next year’s UEFA Cup trans-Europe competition. In addition to shirt sponsorship and advertising presence, a co-branded website will also be set up in time for next season to include a range of betting options tailored specifically for the club's fans, 5,000 of which regularly attend home games.

'Since we launched in the UK in 2007, we have worked to expand our network of football affiliations, signing betting partnership deals with West Ham United and Newcastle United but I was particularly keen to secure a presence in Scotland,' said Mark Irvine, Managing Director of Jaxx.com.
