|Land and Internet gambling operator Ladbrokes has awarded the contract covering all of its online media accounts to advertising agency TBG London, worth an estimated seven million dollars.|
Aegis agency Vizeum previously handled the account and TBG stated that it would run search and display advertisements for all of the operator’s online betting and gaming products, which include casino, poker, sportsbooks, bingo and games. TBG will support the current UK television adverts Ladbrokes is running from lead creative agency M&C Saatchi for its bingo and casino products and will also operate the company ‘s e-mail and mobile marketing campaigns.
“Ladbrokes has been my number one target account for some time,' said Simon Mansell, Managing Director for TBG.
'We have been able to show the company what we can do through the live test campaigns we have been running in the past few weeks.”
TBG stated that its first campaign would be in support of a new Tomb Raider game and that it would place adverts on casino and bingo websites. The firm said that it would also embark on a mobile marketing to increase awareness of Ladbrokes mobile casino games.
“We have been able to draw on our experience with operators such as Sky Bet and Cyberslotz and get double the amount of players spending the same amount of money on Ladbrokes compared to its previous agency,' said Mansell.
'This is because we watch what is happening to the campaign all the way through and will make proactive changes during a campaign with regards to what works and what doesn’t. That makes a huge difference to the overall success of a campaign.”
