|Gibraltar-based 888 Holdings has signed a partnership agreement with Gaming Technology Solutions (GTS) to create a new gaming integration standard that could speed up the time to market for original games across multiple territories.|
Although no financial details for the deal were given, 888 stated that the integration standard built around the open GTS EdGE gaming platform and its own would allow local game developers to access its 'global footprint'.
In addition, the company said that the two would launch their own-label games along with third-party games on the new application programme interface (API) during second quarter of this year.
“This is another key development in opening up our platform to easy integration of games from other providers in diverse geographical markets,” said Gigi Levy, Chief Executive Officer for 888.
“We believe that with GTS we have created the most comprehensive and integrated API in the online gaming industry enabling us to be the first to offer new and exciting games to our fast growing community of players across the globe.”
“We are delighted that 888 have chosen GTS as their games integration partner and have selected the EdGE platform and API as the most flexible solution to deliver the best games from world class developers,” said Steven Matsell of GTS.
“We are looking forward to working with one of the world's most popular online gaming entertainment companies, providing them with the flexibility they need to deliver content across all their channels.”
