|Italian lottery technology and solutions provider Gruppo Lottomatica has announced the completion of its purchase of casino gaming equipment developer and manufacturer Atronic from Germany’s Gauselmann AG for $49.6 million.|
Lubbecke-based Atronic is the only European slot machine manufacturer licensed in Nevada and Lottomatica stated that the purchase was carried out through its GTech Corporation subsidiary. In January, GTech acquired a 50 percent controlling interest in Atronic for $31 million in a deal now totalling just over $293 million, which includes approximately $212.5 million of debt.
