|UK interactive gambling firm NetPlay TV has announced the acquisition of the entire gaming database of Pitch Entertainment Limited for $247,026 in cash to boost its player base by over 3,500 registered players.|
The deal was made by NetPlay TV Services Limited, a subsidiary of the Lancaster-based firm, and will see all visitors to PichGaming.com automatically transferred to LiveRoulette.com for the next six months.
The acquisition follows NetPlay TV’s recent purchase of Pitch Roulette’s Sky Channel 848, which is to be used to debut its new live blackjack service. The firm stated that it developed this new interactive Internet and television gaming format to complement its existing live roulette service on Sky Channel 847.
”The acquisition of these registered players further strengthens our position as the leader in 'live' interactive television gaming,” said Martin Higginson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for NetPlay TV.
”These 3,500 customers have already demonstrated their desire to deposit funds and play television roulette and we are adding them on the back of acquiring the Sky TV channel they used to play on.
”We will also be able to offer new and existing customers the opportunity to play both live roulette and live blackjack. With the dedicated channel next door to our existing successful roulette channel on Sky Channel 847 customers will be able to flick easily between channels depending on which game they want to play. This is a further significant step in our goal of creating Europe's best and biggest converged interactive gaming experience across television, Internet and mobile.”
