|Canadian software provider Chartwell Technology Incorporated has announced that it has received both its remote and non-remote operating licenses from the UK Gambling Commission.|
The Vancouver-based firm stated that it was now authorised to manufacture, supply, install or adapt gambling software in accordance with the UK Gambling Act of 2005, which is consistent with its business model of acting as a technical partner to some of the world's leading online gaming brands.
Chartwell stated that its gaming system underwent a thorough certification process by the UK regulatory authority, which meets or exceeds gaming regulation standards anywhere in the world. The process included both corporate and software certification to ensure maximum security, reporting and responsible gaming functionality.
In addition to the operating licenses, Chartwell announced that each of its senior executives had received personal management licenses from the Commission.
'Receiving these licenses from the UK Gambling Commission confirms our dedication to achieving the highest level of probity in the online gaming industry,' said Darold Parken, President and Chief Executive Officer for Chartwell.
'By remaining development-focused, committed to fair and responsible gaming systems and to corporate transparency, Chartwell is at the forefront of the evolving online gaming regulatory environment.'
