Poker Show To Feature Live Veterans And Online Sensations
By Staff
NBC’s popular poker programme Poker After Dark, in which six players play out a winner-take-all $20,000 buy-in tournament, typically has themes running through a week of shows. This week’s theme is ‘nets vs vets’ and pits old-school live professionals (ten-time bracelet winners Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson as well as 1996 Main Event winner Huck Seed) against online pros – Brian ‘sbrugby’ Townsend is a part-owner of poker video training site CardRunners and can be found at the biggest games on Full Tilt Poker. Tom ‘durrr’ Dwan recently appeared on Poker After Dark’s $100,000 cash game and Andrew ‘good2cu’ Robl, who has made millions online and recently finished third in the $5,000 Mixed Hold'em event at the WSOP.

US viewers can watch it on NBC at 2.05am ET to see who takes the $120,000 prize. Those from other countries can find the show available for streaming on NBC’s official website.
