Hong Kong-based online and land-based gaming firm AsianLogic Limited has signed a joint marketing and operation agreement with CY Foundation Group Limited to establish a network of games for the 178Games.com platform across China.
CY Foundation is an interactive media entertainment company focused on providing quality entertainment across China and debuted the 178Games.com platform in May of last year. The new deal will see the two firms develop daily online tournaments, a games community and social network alongside forums and prizes.
The agreement will also see a team of marketing experts from AsianLogic and CY Foundation develop a national brand image for 178Games.com highlighting its advanced points system that enables winnings to be exchanged for gifts.
178Games.com is expected to hold its official launch in mid-September and AsianLogic stated that it plans to introduce Texas Hold'em tournaments at that time modified to meet China’s regulatory requirements alongside other popular local games such as Dou-di-zhu and Cho-da-di over the coming months.
“CY Foundation's detailed knowledge of the mainland market and the licenses CY Foundation currently holds combined with AsianLogic's proven industry track record offers online game players across China an unparalleled game experience,” said Tom Hall, Chief Executive Officer for AsianLogic.
“We are proud to partner with AsianLogic in establishing what I believe will be one of the most dynamic and popular online game platforms in China,” said Theodore Cheng, Executive Chairman of CY Foundation.
“AsianLogic has the experience of running online and land-based card game tournaments across Asia while CY Foundation has an in-depth knowledge of China's online game market. By combining our joint experience, we are set to become the leading infrastructure and game providers in the fast-growing China market.”
