Manchester United Favourites To Retain Premiership Title

Fresh from their victory over Portsmouth in Sunday’s Football Association Community Shield charity game in London, Manchester United has been installed by bookmakers to retain its title and win the English Premiership.

The European champions are 7/4 favourites with online bookmakers followed by Chelsea at 13/8. Those looking for more of an outside bet can get odds of 6/1 with on either Liverpool or Arsenal being on top of the heap when all 38 games have been played while Tottenham Hotspur are 66/1 with to win their first title since 1961.

Birmingham’s Aston Villa are 150/1 with to win their first title since 1981 followed by Manchester City and new manager Mark Hughes at 250/1.
