In the UK, News Group Newspapers has announced that its online bingo sites at SunBingo.co.uk and NOTWBingo.co.uk will be re-launching later this month via a new operator, London-based GameSys Group.
News Group owns The Sun and News Of The World daily newspapers and stated that the sites would be leaving their existing supplier, Tombola, on August 26. They will then become immediately available through a new bespoke bingo platform built and powered by GameSys, the company behind the successful Jackpot Joy brand.
“We’re excited to be re-launching our SunBingo.co.uk and NOTWBingo.co.uk products with such an established online gaming partner in GameSys,” said Barry Sage, Head of Gambling for News Group Digital.
“Working with GameSys will give us complete control over our bingo product. We will continue to improve and develop the product with our bingo players in mind.
“We think it is important to point out that we are not running SunBingo.co.uk or NOTWBingo.co.uk on the Jackpot Joy software. GameSys have built a bespoke bingo platform that considers the needs of our players. They will be able to enjoy all their current favourite bingo games such as Bingo 90, Bingo 80 and Bingo 75 and we also have some fantastic new games that will be exclusive to our players.
“Our bingo products will also have some amazing sign up offers with a full match offer up to $200 for all new and existing players. Plus, there are great chat games with fantastic prizes, cash giveaways and free bingo cards.
“We’d also like to reassure our bingo players that we will be keeping the price of our bingo cards at the same level as the existing site. We take great pride in offering value for money where our players can enjoy their bingo for greater lengths of time.”
