The organisers of the International Casino Exhibition Interactive (ICEi), Clarion Gaming, have revealed that 95 percent of exhibitors from the 2008 show have already booked their stands for the 2009 edition.
Clarion stated that that this, coupled with heightened demand from first-time exhibitors, would see the 2009 edition of the London trade show occupy a record 2,600 square metres of net floor space, a 40 percent year-on-year increase.
'Anyone who missed this year's show and will be returning in 2009 will walk into an event that is 75 per cent bigger,” said Anthony Medica from Clarion.
“Many of the exhibitors have grown with the show and there will be a host of new names. In terms of scale, it is a totally different proposition to what it was two years ago.
'Even six months out of the show opening, there is a sense of expectation, which will gather momentum as other major events such as European iGaming Congress and Expo come and go.”
ICEi will be held from January 27 to 29 at Earls Court Exhibition Centre and will feature an estimated 80 exhibitors comprising major names including Microgaming, Boss Media, Playtech, ABetA Technology, Gextech, Ongame Network, Malta LGA and Net Entertainment.
'2008 was a record-breaking year on a number of fronts,” said Medica.
“The final attendance figures confirmed that 2,861 unique igaming professionals drawn from 68 jurisdictions made the journey to London, a year-on-year increase of 21.2 per cent. These factors contributed massively to generating what was a universally positive response from all of our various stakeholders.”
