London-based BetGenius, a white-label provider of sportsbetting odds comparison services, has announced the purchase of UK data provider TurfTrax for an undisclosed amount.
The deal includes TurfTrax’ Internet, mobile and interactive television racing information services and will see the Salisbury-based firm’s Head of Betting Services, Ben Clifford, stay on as Head of Odds Comparison and Media Services at BetGenius. In his new role, Clifford will manage the transfer of new media products for TurfTrax.
A spokesperson for BetGenius stated that it would use the purchase to increase the range of offers on its BetBetting.com flagship odds comparison site and enhance its horseracing content and coverage including an in-depth statistics service and the TurfTrax.com form guide, which is widely recognised in the horse racing industry as a comprehensive data and statistics service.
