Online casino and sportsbetting site Bet-At-Home.com has announced a sponsorship deal with the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) for the team’s home qualification matches for soccer’s FIFA World Cup 2010.
Brokered by sports marketing agency SportFive, the agreement gives Bet-On-Sports.com a wide range of advertising rights during home matches for both the first team and the Under-21s at Sofia’s Vasil Levski National Stadium. Also covering all home friendly games for the national soccer side, the arrangement includes official sponsor title rights and will see the virtual bookies use the BFU’s logo in its communications and public relations work.
'We warmly welcome Bet-At-Home.com as our new official sponsor,” said Borislav Mihaylov, President of the BFU.
'The company is passionate about sports and the communication of their brand and we are passionate about our future role in international football. This partnership will be very beneficial to both of us.'
The logo for Malta-licensed Bet-At-Home.com will be prominently displayed on advertising boards along the pitch as well as featuring on the coaches’ benches during matches. In addition, its logo will be incorporated into various sponsor backdrops while its advertisements will feature on the BFU’s website. Rounding off the deal, Bet-On-Sports.com will also gain access to match hospitality tickets along with the right to public relations activities with players.
'This co-operation fits very well with our existing sponsorships in Eastern Europe and supports the future advertising activities of Bet-At-Home.com in Bulgaria', said Klaus Gruber, Marketing Manager for Bet-At-Home.com.
'With the help of the BFU and SportFive, we will be able to use this engagement to keep increasing the awareness of the Bet-At-Home.com brand.'
