Online Casinos May Profit From Ike
By Staff
Online casinos are predicted to soon belong to a very small minority – those who will benefit from Hurricane Ike as it heads through the Gulf of Mexico toward the USA.

Experts predict that Ike will hit the Texan coast late tonight or early tomorrow with the possibility of wide-spread damage to the United States. Most businesses in the area will brace themselves for the devastating natural forces about to hit them, but online casinos are set to profit. People are less likely to venture out for a few rounds of blackjack with 145mph winds – online casinos are a far safer alternative.

'With online gambling as popular as it is, people don't need to come to the casinos anymore. When the weather is bad they just stay home and gamble online,' comments Jim Forrester, a dealer at a large Louisiana casino.
