Arsenal Manager Confident After Premiership Victory
By Staff
Manchester United and Chelsea, according to one Frenchman, had better watch out – the Gunners are ready to challenge for the Premiership title this season.
Arsenal are currently at the top of the league after five games following a 3-1 victory over Bolton. This is similar to what happened last season, where Wenger’s side made great strides in the early season and slipped later on. He assured fans this would not happen this year:
'We want to win the title and the UEFA Champions League. We have the quality, we are hungry, and we have a good spirit.
'What I like about this team is that they have a good attitude and share the same vision and express themselves well. We want to win first of all, but if it's possible we want to win with style.'
Arsenal’s odds are generally at 9/2 from most major bookmakers. At 11/10 from Skybet Chelsea are clear favourites followed by Manchester United at 13/5 from 888. Manchester City have seen their odds of finishing in the top 4 improve to 43/10 following their recent wave of money.
