British digital sports specialist Perform Group Limited has announced a series of deals with some of the world's leading bookmakers that will see it provide over 4,000 live events annually through its WatchAndBet.tv online television service.
The Feltham-based firm revealed that Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Unibet and Sportingbet have become the latest clients for its fully managed ‘white-label’ service. These will now be able to offer customers multiple broadcast-quality live streams from a range of international sports including soccer, tennis and golf, the same service currently offered by Bet365, Betfair and William Hill.
'There is an increasing need for bookmakers to evolve their product to keep up with their consumers' demands and drive new revenue streams,” said Ross MacEacharn, Managing Director for WatchAndBet.tv.
'Through our innovative technologies and market-leading rights portfolio, we are allowing our partners to offer sports fans access to premium live sports events online with pictures as fast and as good quality as those on television.
'Research shows that customers are much more willing to bet on action that they can actually watch live so we are providing bookmakers with additional content and their customers with exciting premium sport from around the world.'
Perform recently concluded a series of negotiations for the online rights to a plethora of sporting events including over 500 2010 World Cup qualifier matches from Europe, Asia and the Americas alongside UEFA Cup, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana games. The Surrey firm also recently teamed up with Barry Hearn's Matchroom Sports to produce the Championship League Snooker and Championship League Darts events, which will feature matches between some of the world's best players streamed live solely for betting partners.
