|The Las Vegas Sun reports that a city woman won the notoriously difficult tic-tac-toe game at the Tropicana Hotel last Tuesday night. Known as the $10,000 Chicken Challenge,” Barbara Howell beat “Ginger,” the live chicken, by lining up three Xs diagonally, to win the top prize. The game moves so fast -- players have to beat the quick steps of the frantic hen -- that although 500 players take on Ginger every day, Howell was the only one to win, said Tropicana spokeswoman Lisa Keim. “You have to catch the chicken on a bad day,” she said. |
Although difficult, the game is quite popular in Atlantic City, where it was introduced last year. But only five people in Atlantic City have beaten the chicken since then. The Tropicana is the only Vegas venue to so far offer the hard to beat chicken game.
Most people do much better on Internet gambling, where top prizes are enormous.
