Antigua Set To Attract Britons With Online Casinos
By Staff
Recently, Online Casino News reported that Antigua could well be the next online gaming capital of the world following their recent success in the industry.

Now our predictions are coming true as the British government has officially recognized that the online casino industry in Antigua and Barbuda is sufficiently regulated and safe.

The Department of Media, Culture and Sport approved Antigua’s application for whitelisting. This means that their locally-based online gambling sites have permission to advertise their services to UK citizens.

The British Minister of Sport said in a statement that he was 'content that Antigua and Barbuda has the legal authority to regulate gambling and that its current system of regulation and licensing provides a robust and adequately resourced framework to uphold our shared objectives: to prevent gambling from becoming a source of crime; and to keep gambling fair and open and to protect children and vulnerable people.'
