Jadestone Networks has announced that Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG has agreed to become a member of its DiceArena Network multi-player online games service early next year.
Jadestone is the Stockholm-based owner and operator of DiceArena, which has been designed to offer a popular suite of games to players through European online gaming operators along the same lines as the major poker networks.
In development for over two years, DiceArena featured two dice games at launch, Dice Hold’Em and Shoot The Moons. The former title is inspired by the popular poker game while the latter is an easy to learn alternative for the more casual player. Early next year, two additional games will be added, Liar’s Dice and Backgammon, to bring its total number of titles to four.
“We’ve always felt that Jadestone provides a fresh take on familiar concepts,” said Norbert Teufelberger, Co-Chief Executive Officer for Vienna-based Bwin.
“The current Jadestone games have been among our fastest growing product categories lately.
“We have great expectations that the new Backgammon will be a real winner. As for the DiceArena table games, the market is clearly ready for something new and exciting.”
Jadestone revealed that DiceArena is destined to become one of its largest products in the future with a number of high-profile network partners already lined up for next year using games available across Europe in 23 languages.
“There’s no doubt that Bwin has played a major role in getting Jadestone to where it is today,” said Tobias Nissen, Business Development Director for Jadestone.
“They have been a solid and competent partner in the true sense of the word. It’s with great satisfaction we see Bwin expand their business with us to include our new DiceArena product.”
