Guests attending next week’s Fire&Ice 2009 social event in London are in for a special treat after organiser Lyceum Media announced that the annual free gathering would feature musical entertainment from THePETEBOX.
Now in its eighth year, Fire&Ice will take place on January 28 from nine o’clock in the evening at the stylish Gilgamesh Lounge in London’s Camden Town. The networking event is organised around the International Gaming Expo (IGE) trade show, formerly known as the International Casino Exhibition (ICE), and will bring together online gambling executives, operators, affiliates, media and suppliers in an informal way, epitomising an industry that is on the cutting-edge of digital entertainment.
Fire&Ice is also set to feature industry search engine guru Bob Rains serving as a guest DJ alongside other popular London musicians. Rains has spoken at numerous conferences including CAP Euro and Webmaster World PubCon Las Vegas and has a passion for music that he will share with the iGaming fraternity.
'THePETEBOX is absolutely amazing and, when I saw him at the Thames Mayor’s festival, I knew we had to get him at Fire&Ice,' said Michael Caselli from Lyceum Media.
'This year's event is entertainment-packed and we paid special attention to our musical guests. We're taking the event up a notch for 2009 and unique talent is just one of the ways we are going to do it.”
THePETEBOX is a human beat boxer that won the prestigious Channel 4Talent Awards in December of 2007, which placed him alongside some of the UK’s most promising young creatives.
“Alongside DJ’s and musical acts, we’ve got an array of exotic performances throughout the night and a special surprise gift that will let guests take a little piece of Fire&Ice home with them,” said Jodie Thind, Events Producer for Lyceum.
Free tickets are available at LyceumMedia.com/FireAndIce while guests can also pick up a free invitation at IGE from Lyceum representatives or at the stands of iGaming Business or CryptoLogic.
