Repton, a leading IT solutions provider for the gaming industry, is offering six free half-day seminars during next week’s International Gaming Expo (IGE) 2009 trade show featuring an expert line-up of guest speakers.
IGE 2009 is scheduled to take place from January 27 to 29 at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre and Repton revealed that its seminars would cover a broad range of topics including the impact of future gaming legislation, identifying problem gamblers and how to avoid fraud.
Guest speakers for the seminars will include Internet safety expert John Carr alongside Chris Heaton-Harris, a Member of the European Parliament. They will be on hand to explain possible future changes in European eGaming legislation including the potential break-up of existing national gambling monopolies and how to take advantage of increased market competition.
'We were delighted when John Carr and Chris Heaton-Harris agreed to talk at our free seminars during the International Gaming Expo,” said Greg Carlow, Managing Director for Repton.
“They bring a wide knowledge that nicely complements Repton's practical experience of designing and implementing powerful IT solutions within the gaming industry.
'We hope that Expo visitors take this unique opportunity to find out more about the latest issues and technical challenges. Only the right application of business knowledge and information technology will ensure gaming industry professionals succeed in an increasingly demanding marketplace.'
Repton stated that that its seminars have been scheduled to last for three and one-half hours and will take place in the Marlborough Room within the Philbeach Suite on the first floor of Earls Court One at 9:15 in the morning and 1:45 in the afternoon each day. Although registration is free, Repton recommended that those planning to attend book in advance by e-mailing Jane.Dance@Repton.co.uk.
