GLI Europe Appoints Britton

Leading electronic gaming equipment testing and certification firm Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) Europe has announced that technical expert Martin Britton has joined its staff as Director of Engineering.

GLI has been a leading independent testing authority for the gaming industry for over 20 years and stated that Britton would be responsible for managing all of the engineering activities taking place at its Netherlands subsidiary including ensuring that customers’ expectations are being met.

Britton initially began working for GLI in Holland in June of last year as its acting UK Business Development Manager. The Hillegom-based subsidiary revealed that he would continue to be responsible for business development in Great Britain, working alongside other Europe Development Managers. In addition, he is to liase closely with GLI Austria and GLI Italy in providing clients with multi-jurisdictional solutions.

“Bringing Martin full-time to our team is a way to further build on GLI Europe’s testing and regulatory support capabilities,” said Phillip Barow, Managing Director for GLI Europe.

“Adding Martin gives GLI the proper resources to service all customers and to continue to advise regulators in the European community.”

GLI Europe stated that Britton has a long history in the European gaming industry and has served as Chief Operating Officer for Cyberview Technology, Technical Director and Commercial Director for TCS/John Huxley and Commercial and Technical Director at VIP Gaming.
