Remote gaming software provider Chartwell Technology Incorporated has released its Version 7.0 Gaming System Software, which features new content and the firm’s most extensive back-office enhancements.
The Calgary-based firm debuted the new software at last week’s International Gaming Expo (IGE) 2009 in London and stated that it delivers greatly enhanced game performance and expanded system management functionality by using the latest advancements in graphics display and programming technology.
This release follows licensing deals Chartwell signed last week with Paramount Digital Entertainment International and Progressive Games Partners that will see it add to its large suite of game titles.
New games featured in Version 7.0 include Kat Lee: Bounty Hunter, one of three 30-line and five-reel slots, which sees the heroine battling cyborgs in the future. This game also features a free spin bonus, two scatter pays and a multi-level bonus where players have a chance to advance to higher payouts. Other 30-line titles in the new release include Berry Blast and the game show genre Triple Bonus Spin 'n' Win.
Version 7.0 also features two 15-line and five-reel slots including Surf's Up, a Polynesian-themed title with video clip reel symbols, and the mystical Fortune Teller. Both games feature three free spins with triple-value payouts along with a multi-level bonus that awards cash.
'This is a major release for us, which has been almost a year in the making', said Darold Parken, President and Chief Executive Officer for Chartwell.
'The range and quality of our new games is exceptional and the back-office operational functionality is second to none. This release offers great new features for both the player and the operator and provides a powerful base for very significant enhancements to our overall offering which we have planned for this year.'
