Bluff Europe Magazine Gives Away Seats to the Irish Open
February 16, 2009 (London, UK) - Bluff Europe will be giving away a seat to the Irish Open next Monday (Feb 23rd) as the popular poker mag continues its successful “Card Gang” series of tournaments. Unlike previous freeroll events in the series, the Card Gang Irish Open Invitational will be a €1 rebuy tournament but, with the €4,000 Irish Open package up for grabs, plus an extra €1,000 in prize money added by the sponsor for the top 50 places, this is a tournament with some real value for the poker player.
The Irish Open is Europe’s oldest and most prestigious tournaments, and widely regarded as the friendliest stop on the European circuit. Last year, Bluff Europe columnist Neil “Bad Beat” Channing took home a hefty €800,000 for his first-place finish last year.
“Not only is this a tournament with massive, massive value for the poker player, but it’s also an opportunity for one player to share in the prestige of Europe’s best loved tournaments and have a shot a huge prize,” commented Philip Coneller, Editor of Bluff Europe.
Bluff Europe is Europe’s most widely read poker publication, the largest in the UK, aimed squarely at the poker enthusiast. The magazine is distributed through European card rooms and poker clubs as well as on newsstands in the UK, Germany and Scandinavia. Regular contributors include Phil Laak, Paul Jackson and a host of other poker professionals from the UK, Europe and the USA.
Bluff Europe magazine is the first magazine to be available by subscription through SMS. Poker enthusiasts in the UK can subscribe by texting POKER to 60155. www.bluffeurope.com
