Following the success of its three $10,000 Rummy 51 competitions, online rummy site RummyRoyal.com is holding its largest Kalooki tournament ever this Sunday offering $15,000 in cash prizes.
With a buy-in of $55 and three available rebuys, the online tournament is scheduled to take place on February 22 and hundreds of players are expected to participate.
RummyRoyal.com stated that players could compete in satellite tournaments starting from as little as $3.25 in order to win vouchers and rebuy coupons for the big event.
The site was launched in July of 2007 and is currently available in seven languages, French, English, Romanian, German, Italian, Spanish and Hebrew. RummyRoyal.com also revealed that it expects to add four additional languages, Dutch, Greek, Hungarian and Turkish, to its platform before the end of this year’s first quarter.
In addition, RummyRoyal.com launched its no-download, Facebook application late last year and stated that it has proven very successful with hundreds of new players every day.
Finally, in an effort to accommodate as many online players as possible, RummyRoyal.com has added the option of depositing and withdrawing money in different currencies. Players from around the world may now choose the option that best suits them, whether that is in US Dollars, Euros or British Pounds.
