Leading American gaming technology and services firm GTech Corporation has announced the appointment of Scott Gunn to the post of Senior Vice-President of Global Government Relations and US Business Development.
GTech is a subsidiary of leading commercial lottery operator Lottomatica and revealed that Gunn would be responsible for global government relations and strategy for the company. He will guide the Providence-based firm’s worldwide network of government relations consultants in order to maintain appropriate relationships while also endeavouring to develop the firm’s lines of business.
Gunn will also lead GTech’s US Business Development organisation to ensure that the company is aligned with and positioned to support the objectives of its customers while pursuing its most significant domestic business opportunities.
“Scott is a seasoned strategist who understands the intricacies within governments, has a vast knowledge of GTech operations and knows how to effectively bring these two disciplines together for both our customers and the company,” said Jaymin Patel, Chief Executive Officer and President for GTech.
“As a result, his work on behalf of our customers has required substantial interaction with government, political, media and community representatives. Scott has spent his entire career in state and national politics and has built strong relationships at all levels of government. All of this makes him ideally suited to interact with key government officials and community representatives in addressing the various governmental and civic issues that impact GTech and our subsidiaries.”
Gunn has worked for GTech since 1994 in various positions in sales, business development, public affairs and global operations. Most recently, he spent two years as the Vice-President of Western Region Operations, overseeing activities in eight western region sites.
